Based on the recommendations of many here, I purchased the Range Officer. It just arrived. I ended up getting it off of gunbroker, and after fees, ffl etc. it was 700 out the door. I think it is beautiful and can't wait to shoot it. I will probably hit the indoor range soon. I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks again everyone for the recommendations!

Congrats, that's a good price, I paid $720.00 out the door local. I think that you are gonna really like it. Its a very clean, nice looking 1911 & its very accurate. So far mine has been 100% reliable. SA hit it out of the park with value on this one.

Great price! I picked mine up for $750. The price on the case says $829.99 though. I wonder if I can flip it?

They seem like a solid piece. I just put on some Pachmayr wrap around grips on mine and the thing is G2G.

I'm not sure when I can get out to the range with it with the Holidays coming up, but I'm antsy to.

You are 100% correct on that one. If the RO is a homerun....a 9mm would be a grand slam.

Congrats! If that gun was available when I got my first 1911 it would have been a tough choice. I think you did well! My only concern for you is that it's very very hard to only have one 1911, I wish you luck...

the 9mm Loaded's are already hard to find, so the RO in 9mm would be a no brainer.
I'd buy one, even though i already have a 9mm Loaded, just for the fit.
