I'm brand new to reloading, just got a setup from a fellow GT member here. I loaded up a few different load types, about 300 rounds total. I fired from my Dan Wesson Valor using WC 47D's, no name brand $6 magazines, and the factory checkmate magazines. Not a single hiccup, and I think I like the low-mid power loads best. Seemed I was getting the best accuracy at about 750 fps loads. I got home, tossed the used brass into the tumbler and loaded 500 more rounds. Going to go back out tomorrow and try to get rid of these next 500 rounds. Thanks Mike, this set up is excellent!

Congrats on a success. Just be carefull with new loads. I try to load a small batch the first time, like 10 or 20 at the most and try them. It really is tedious to pull bullets. Welcome to the addiction that is reloading.

Would you like to share your load data? powder/volume bullet specs/seating. We all love to know. I have had some great results with WST and WSF in 45 recently with Montana gold 230g JHP. I am right in the 750 fps range too.

Congrats. I enjoy reloading as much as shooting. I will never be able to shoot every thing I have loaded.

Welcome to the loading world! It's quite relaxing for me and it's a lot of fun finding the right recipe for different bullets and guns.

Thanks guys, I was using 6.1 grains of power pistol with Berry's 230gr plated round nose bullets. 1.264 overall length. The headstamp is R * P, not sure what that is, all I know is it is the same headstamp on my duty ammunition.
