Need some insight from the veterans out there. I have a 34 and it came with a fire dragon s/s comp barrel as well as the stock unit. I have 231, Bull, Unique, WST, 2400, Clays, Universal. I will be using Montana Gold 124 JHP's and CCI primers wit once fired Speer and Federal cases. Any Load data starting points appreciated

Compensated bbls are prettty much the same. They like a powder that produces a lot of gas to make the comp work more effciently. I would look @ PowerPistol. Of the powders you have, I would go Unique. Any good loading manual will give you plenty of data for either. Autocomp would eb another one, but not a ton of printed data for it.

Tks, I have some many reloading books and most show 124's with Unique, just looking for some guidance from old hands. Tks
