Fiocchi Extrema 124gr for carry gun???

    Anybody using this load? Anybody check it on a chrono? Functions great in my G26 along with the extrema 115gr load. But lists +p velocity level for the 124gr. Curious if its real. I tried the search but came up empty:dunno:

    It's not. People have called fiocchi about it. It's a serious misprint. They extrema chronos well below plus P. hard to beat for the money though.

    So what is the real velocity? anyone test it for penetration/expansion?

    just over 1000 fps i think. like 1100 MAX. XTP is a good bullet, expansion should be good, even with the lower velocity.

    If you like the XTP bullet, go to the BlackHills 124gr+P. It chronos 1220fps in my G26, accurate, expands really well at that vel.

    Out of curiousity Fred, have you chronographed that round in a longer barrel, e.g., G19 o G17?
