    Sorry, Just noticed it was posted in 2006. Was not a shooter then and just saw it in my local Gun News yesterday. Hope all the bad ammo is already replaced, but you never know.

    Yeah, I'd hope that all of it was recalled or shot up without incident by now. It would be nice to have a folder where all these ammo recalls can be placed for future reference. Every now and then we still see questions pop up regarding the old 250 round bulk boxes of Speer Gold Dot ammo that states "Not For Duty Use" on the box. Someone always wants to know it was repackaged and not for duty use.

    You wouldn't think that ammo that old would still be around, but I just checked a case that I purchased in '07. It has a lot number older than any listed in the recall. I've only shot one box out of the case because it's very hot. It feels hotter than 9mm+P that I've shot.
