you could do some of both. If you decide to coat, I'd go with a non-reflective gray or black. Just my personal choices.
What type of steel?
Those look pretty sweet. I've been toying with the idea of making my own knives but know absolutely nothing about it. Any pointers on places to look?
nice, good work, I like the 3er from the bottom, a lot.
Nice..Can you PM me a price list??
Very nice! Especially the bottom Tanto!
Do you do any hot forging?
They look great!!
Japanese, in black
I like the pikal knives on top. The rest, I think, could use at least half-guards.
Just my opinion, natch.
Nice looking blades. How hard do you heat treat them?
BTW, D-2 iw a great steel, but Crucible now makes CPM D-2. If you can find it, it's an order of magnitude improvement over standard D-2.
BTW, consider a nice vinegar or lemon juice patina, instead of a "Mall Ninja" coating.
well maybe I was wrong and the tan scales matched better, but I will never admit it.
I'm interested in the heat treating too.
Five down from the top, the "Sheepsfoot/Wharncliffe is really neat looking. I've always loved a wharnie with it's straight cutting edge.
