I have a Stark Grip in FDE. Wasn't my first choice but it grew on me and it feels good. It also covers the busted off ear on my lower :)

Just go into it with an open mind, with no preconceived notions. Also, consider the ammo quality.

Don't post pics if it's a same hole shooter. You don't want to stroke anybody out. It's okay to have a differing opinion on brands, but you don't want to kill them over your choice. Even though I doubt they would extend you the same courtesy.

  5. Put 60 rounds through it (not a lot but when I bought ammo that's the limit they let me buy). Functioned perfectly, no jams. Went bang every time.

Put out some cans and jugs about 75 yards out. After shooting a few rounds and adjusting the sights I was able to consistently hit a gallon sized jug while standing.

When resting the group size was under 3 inches on a large box. I expect to improve with new optics and more practice.

Ammo used was American Eagle 50 grain hollow points.

  6. My cousin brought out his .270 rifle too. I find it funny how the 5.56 is the current bad guy round to people who are completely ignorant to firearms..

Yea lets ban 5.56 but the most common hunting round is a ok.

60 rounds is a start. I've never considered American Eagle ammo to be match grade.

  8. Ha. Defiantly not!

That pic has all kinds of underlying suggestive meaning to it, I mean count me as a .270 guy while you guys can be .223 guys

  11. Well then count me as a .50 BMG guy. Haha

  16. If any one needs 5.56 and lives in the north Alabama area. Larry's Pistol and Pawn has 5.56 mil-spec ammo for $12 a box. (Limit of 3 per person per day though.)

  17. Went by Larry's again today, they have Windhams, Colts, etc.. Nice selection, but a bit pricey..
