    doc,

ang hirap gamitin ng vv sa open gun hinde kasya yung 340 sa 9mm open ..sila taran butler at chuck bradley daw gamit 340 sa open nila ...takot akong isiksik na yung powder kasi sobra na pressure nun.. i tried vv 320 on my limited gun

    180 gr
1.185 (used to be 1.200 ,pero whats the use of using more powder and a longer oal, parehong low pressure pa din naman yan sa 1.185)
    vv n320 5.1- 5.2
    win small pistol primers

    PF 170-172

Good luck sa laro at sa open gun;)

no sir.. no problems with this set up in all my .40's..the usual OAL in .40's are around 1.125-1.137 (GLOCK SIZED or from factory)..actually gusto ko pa nga ibaba ng around 1.165-1.170 para mas faster mag feed and tipid sa powder...the only reason why people load them long is because ayaw nila kakalog kalog ang bala sa loob ng mag and mag tumble (like STI,1911 types) and also para mas low risk ang pressure ..yung set up ko din siguro na EGW sizing die, swager, lee seating die,and two crimp dies(dillon and LEE FCD) on my press also helps and kahit ok na yung set up i still case gauge evrything just to be sure...about the jams what bullets are they using? i switched back to MOntana gold kasi nag taas na ng presyo ang Zero's and the montana golds (round nose flat points) are very friendly to feed ramps...;)

yup! Orig barrel. It was a 2nd gen G22. Had to sell it last year to finance the purchase of my Para LDA P18-9.

I was using the 155gr heads earlier. The slide action was faster. Velocity was around 900-920fps. I was getting about the same PF.

But the 180gr heads shot softer and made it easier to track the front sights than the 155's.

Dito sa Pinas, the most popular PD pistols are Glock, CZ-75/85, Jericho, Tanfoglio, Bul Storm, Beretta, and Taurus.
