EIC pistol matches. What is the deal?? I got 139 out of total 180 do I make the cut? I am having a heck of a time for finding references. We shot this with the Army hosting recently. Thanks guys.

Been a while since I did one, but as I recall, medals go to the top 10% shooters. I think you can find the info on the NRA site!

Secondly, didn't the outfit running the comp brief you guys on the rules, scoring...etc?

Should be top ten percent, IF they beat a certain minimum cut-off score. As Redhat said, there should have been a competitor briefing that covered eligibility, safety, reasons for disqualifications, scoring, alibis, cut-off score for medals, etc.

They still use M15 .38 revolvers and M41 ball ammo for the handgun match, right?

What do you mean by 130 0f 180, you talking about shooters? You can have 80 shooters if you wanted but only 10 percent will medal. If you have all the shooters then the cutoff should be 270. I medaled with a 272 last year. Just find the reg. I think I have one printed at the shop, so let me know if you will be needing the AFI.

Guys thanks but it turns out it was not a sponsored EIC match thats ok though because I beat all the army troops clearly. I don't think anyone was close.
