Feds: Treat AWBII same as Pot Enforcement?

Discussion in 'Political Issues' started by beforeobamabans, Dec 20, 2012.

  1. Just a thought....

Even though MJ is outlawed nationally, two states have passed laws legalizing it's use. Obama, in his infinite wisdom, has stated that the federal government would not go against the will of the voters in those states by enforcing the law. OK.....

The Feds will soon pass Assault Weapons Ban 2 outlawing certain rifles, high-cap mags and who knows what else on a national basis. But perhaps Indiana and a few other states like their AWs and HCMs. They pass laws allowing not only for their sale and possession, but their manufacture in order to attract jobs to the state. Obama would never want to be inconsistent, right? Therefore, the will of the people MUST be respected and the Feds hands off.

If their is a grandfather clause, (which their will be because confiscation is logistically impossible and would cause a massive inssurection which our overlords want to avoid right now) their would be no basis for an ATF raid to get my "black rifle" They would have to go to the store where i bought it and collect the 4473, that goes for all others that they would confiscate. A government that is so horridly inept and inefficient that it cant deliver a letter from one place to another on time is going to coordinate a mass confiscation operation on the millions of gun owners in this country? Id say pretty unlikely. But if they tried something like that, it would get messy.
