Wonder how many truly famous people are or were hand loaders.
And no, I am not talking about any of my fellow GTR bozo's.

    Except Jack.

...or are you talking about famous people outside the normal gun culture circles?

Met Tom Selleck at SHOT show this year. He's been handloading for decades.

That wasn't Tom Selleck, that was me... and send me back the hundred bucks I lent you so you could take your 'niece' to dinner.

Elmer Keith was a fine and imaginative loader indeed but it took me forever to teach him how to seat and crimp with one die.

(I think little Stevie is related to him. :whistling:)

If it wasn't for that worm, you would only have the second most impressive gun room.

Although a very knowledgeable mention since most of the newbs probably aren't aware of him, when I think of Skeeter I think of him more along the lines of a pioneer pistol shooter and old school lawman... similar to Bill Jordan.

When I think of Elmer however the first thing that comes to mind is loading, experimentation, improvement and innovation.

I think I would probably argue that he's the father of modern day pistol loading.

Might want to wash that off after a session with any of the Osbournes.
