Fake silencers now an NFA item

    ridiculous. Next we'll be hearing that AR-15s are regulated under NFA because they're cosmetically similar to an M-16.
     


  2. The ruling has nothing to do with external cosmetic, it has to do with the fact that people were registering that fake silencer as a real silencer. So the ATF figures if it can be converted legally it is close enough to a real silencer that it can be converted illegally
