I just turned in my ATF application to the Fairfax County Sheriff's Department. I have attached the Fairfax County Sheriff's Department questionaire and submittal instructions shuold anyone need them. FYI.... I have the file names backwards. The letter is the instructions and the instructions file name is the required questionaire. Sorry.

    Good to go.

I got my packet back from the Sheriff's Department, added the check and it's off to ATF.

    2 weeks ?

You probably don't want to hear about the 5 minutes and no questions asked at my local sherrif - just a quick computer check. :)

In northern Virginia, I am ok with two weeks. I even include a post paid return envelope.
