    Hi,
I have a G20 that I would like to shoot 40 short & weak in addition to the 10mm. So riddle me this: can I buy a factory 40 barrel (G22) and drop it in my G20 to use it as a 40 conversion barrel?

Yesterday I spoke with a guy that asked this same question of a glockmeister employee who said it would work just fine. Could you describe to me why it won't work so I may enlighten him? Thank you.

The G20 barrel is 4.60 in or 117mm in length
The G22 barrel is 4.49 in or 114mm in length
Locking blocks are different so that also means the lugs are different
