I have recently gotten a bad case of the "hots" for the new Ruger Frontier rifle. See link: http://www.shootingtimes.com/longgun_reviews/scout_102606/ It would seem to be a pretty good choice for much of the hunting I do but I'm vexed about scope choices. In order to mount the scope in front of the action, over the barrel, I would need an extended eye relief model and am having trouble locating one other than those for handguns. Handgun scopes are too limited in "field of view" to be suitable for this rifle. Anybody have suggestions?
