Just got this in an email from the NRA-ILA:

  2. Nice to know the current administration is in our corner and listening to us.....Truely the party of HOPE. Probably wont deter the rightwing wackos from spewing anti admin and anti EPA dribble though....obviously the party of Nope.
President Obama has been the best thing that ever happened to our industry. Increased market and sales, rejecting restrictive legislature, prices of ammo and primers coming down....Heck it is almost $2 cheaper a gallon of gas to drive to the Gun Store or range.
God bless our President and the USA.....in spite of the Republicans

It's funny how the NRA seems to be taking credit for this, when they had absolutely nothing to do w/ the decision.

By the way, there's 80 gazillion threads on this all over GT.. in short, the EPA wasn't even considering a ban. By law, they couldn't. The news release that the EPA was considering it, was put out by a bunch of hippie environmentalists, who sent the proposal to them.

Truth is, that proposal was not worth the paper it was written on.

  5. Serious. A lot more serious than anyone considering voting for
Quiter Palin. I use to think that the republicans were the party of Nope but the more I see the more they look like the party of dopes.

What has the Republicans done for us....

Thanks to the Obama administration for hearing us and responding.
God Bless our President and the USA

    Bro,

Either you have no idea how this world works or you are just trying to get a rise out of people. The dems including Obama would love to put increased regulations on firearms but since they want to be re-elected are steering clear of the issue.

Out of sheer curiosity, what state are you from?

You really can't be serious. There is nothing in the PBO, left wing , socialst party that is for anyone really, much less gun owners.:whistling: They support European style, socialist system of govt. for the govt by the govt. Seeing it any other way is just sticking your head in the sand, stupid or dishonest:dunno:. I do agree about Palin though; pure oportunist there. Quiting as Gov of Alaska ruined any cred IMO.
What IS NEEDED this Nov IS REPUBLICAN NO policy. BTW, Dems have said no for years to solid policy put forth by Rep. Bush wanted to reform SS in year two of his pres, we didn't get wlefare reform until the Rep took over in 96. Dems torpedoed it w/ all kinds of lies & rhetoric. What many do not understand is if the govt gives it to you, they can take it away & at the least, hold it over you to get your vote. Just look at what every liberal Dem run state is going through right now. KAlif, NY, NJ (Christie will turn it around), Mass & many other are running huge def primarily because of high public employee pay & benefits. It all needs to come to a stop.
The ignorant idea you can spend your way out of a bad economy is just mind boggling. If you are in a deep hole, STOP DIGGING! What is needed is strong leadership from either party, that will freeze govt spending at all levels. Roll back the ridiculous pay & benefit packages to pub emp & then start being more accountable for the remaining money spent. ANY "stimulous" money should be spent to create new jobs, not prop up overpaid, under worked sector. Only then will the country turn back around. That will require officials to say no, a lot. Much like turning a spoiled child around, just say no!

Nice too know that the administration is listening too use? Is that why 70% of the country did not what the Health Care Bill but it was pasted anyway. This is just one of many things that Democrats do not listen too the American people. They think that they know what is better for us.
HOPE: Hope for what a Socialist country.
Best thing that has happened too our economy. That is a joke. Unemployment is about 10% and some places higher. More restrictive legislation causing the lose of jobs. More upcoming taxes, So much the industries are not hiring. The only jobs is has created or saved has been government jobs. Need private sector job too grow the economy. The only thing he is doing is hurting the private sector and our economy.
The price of ammo and primers are coming down. Right now still can’t find primers. At least not what I use. Obama is what caused the price too go up in the first place.
Democrats are by nature anti-gun. Go ahead and tell me Obama or democrats are pro gun.
The last time I checked Palin is, or has never ran for being president of the United States. Let see at least she was a Governor of a state. I wonder why she quit. Could it have been from all the drummed up lawsuits they kept bring up.
Obama: Lets see, taught Socialism in collage, a Community Organizer, and a State Senator for how many days. And voted absent on most of anything he didn’t voted on. But did vote for any gun banning bills that were brought up. Surrounds himself with people that have Socialist and Marxist ideas. And wants too turn this country into a socialist country.
How has had the majority in the House and Senate for the last four years? The Democrats.
You brought up the price of gas. Obama what the price too be at least 5.00 a gallon. That is his own words. And so much for an open Government. Obama is a Joke Too bad he does live by or understand the loath of office that he took.
O yes work harder because you are now paying my social Security check every month. Because of Obams I lost my job.
    Barack Obams.

Bob, unemployement is actually closer to 15% nationwide. There are 100s of 1000s of unemployeed that are now off the rolls because their unempl pay has run out & they are not even looking for work. Then there are another 10-15%, like me, that have been forced to work part time in the private sector to keep what little job we have left.
I agree, anyone that thinks gas @ $3 has anything to do with PBO's policy just doesn't know anything about economics. It's supply & demand. BUt, if the Dems are relected in NOV, they will feel a mandate to tax & spend more. We will get Cap & trade, gas will easily go above $5/gal & all other energy cost will increase. We will also get a VAT. Sadly, most who have never been out of this country have no idea how bad that is to an economy.
PBO promised if the Health Care bill passed, cost would go down. Surprise, he has no idea what he is talking about, like most Liberal Dems. The cost across the country for HC is up 30% since the bill passed. My rule of thumb, when a Lib Dem discusses an issue, they are either lying or stupid. To believe that you can spend trillion dollars, much of it going to pet projects of congress & local govts & create jobs is ridiculous. What the lib dems seem to lose track of is, if there is not a strong private sector, there is no govt sector. You end up with GREECE, & we are quickly headed there if they don't stop the spending.
Maybe some don't remember how bad it was in the Carter years. The Obama years will make the Carter years look like the years of plenty. It all starts this Nov. Probably the most important election since Carter if we want to raise this sinking ship of the USA. :steamed: BTW PB, history is a boitch at times. The economy was actually doing ok in 2006, just about when the Dems took both houses. SInce the Congress controls spending, they would be the ones doing the actual spending. Yes, Bush signed bad bills, but that does not excuse the Dems running the economy into the tank in 08. Now here we are, the poor guy who wanted the job, who lied on his resume to get it (essentially) can't do the job & is blaming it on the last employee. If I did that, I wouldn't last 2wks in the private sector. Just another example of why govt doesn't work. Hold these MFrs acountable in Nov. They all should go IMO. BRING ON TERM LIMITS!

The said part is that they believe that he is doing a great job. He sounds great when he is reading off of his teleprompter. Said thing is he needs a teleprompter too talk too even school kids. He does not have a clue on how too turn the country around. But the trouble is he does not want too.
