Is this another of the usual "Bad Cop" movies?

I think they play good guys, but don't know for sure. I'm going to see it for the guns and the action.

Don't worry, I don't think it will have any Brokeback Mountain action.

Don't think the main actor has been good in anything I've seen him in, but the movie itself looks good. We've been seeing previews for it for awhile. I'll probably see it friday

From the same director as Training Day I believe. I'll go watch it.

$5 DVD bin or on cable. Not saying anything about this particular movie, just how I roll.

Musta been a long time since you've visted Red Box. They're $1.3x or $1.4x (I forget which, exactly) now. Been that way for over 8 months. :whistling:

I have been hearing comments from people that have seen prescreenings. There is talk of Oscar nominations. Apparently it is a pretty good movie.

It looks like a fantastic, non cornball movie.

Saw it on a screening a few days ago. No clear sense where the direction of the movie was suppose to go. Are good cops good even thought they do bad things? Camera shots at times were silly. If you're LE you'll like it. Some 60 seats seats were saved for the local PD. There was comedy placed at the right time through out the film. But the score had out of place tracks through out. Awarding winning film? NO. Decent film? Maybe.

That sounds a lot like what people were saying about "Savages," and i really enjoyed that one.

Dang. Looked good from what I heard. Wife wanted to see a movie, and I suggested this. It is either this or Resident Evil Retribution. Looked on moviefone, and nothing else seems remotely good.

Just saw it, and I enjoyed it for the most part. To those that have seen it, where the hell was the backup?! It's inner city La and you don't even hear a siren in the distance for what seemed like forever.

Saw it tonight. It was okay. Saw a few mistakes right off. The main character is showing his gun and knife to the camera and says it's a Glock 17 even though the slide says 22. His calls his knife a Spyderco, but you can clearly see it's one of those imported Smith and Wesson tacticals.

I think he said Glock 19?? Didn't see what it says on a slide.

Entertaining movie. Not great, but not bad. Lots of swear words. Just heads up
