Anyone try these items. The one I am interested in they ahd on an episode fo "Two Guys Garage". It puts a electrical charge through every piece of metal attached to the chassis and is supposed to stop rust by not allowing it to form in the first place. It seemed neat and I was told they have had these for a while for boats, so the theory seems to be well established.

www.counteractrust.com is the one I am looking at to help save my new Corolla XRS from road salt this winter. But, $300 is pretty steep. It does have all the bells and whistles as far as these things go. It is powered by you car battery and even switches itself off when it senses the battery is getting weak. It looks pretty quality too (others just look like a 9v battery with 2 wires sticking out).

    Any experience would be appreciated.

    Thanks
