Thank goodness Egypt is a largely secular, highly educated, and Westernized nation...

We may never fully recover from the 4 years of ineptitude and downright thuggery of this current administration. Never vetted and completely unprepared for the job. Every single one of them. All Harvard academics that were career students and politically correct subversives. God help us all.

    Egypt elects an islamist.

    Obama's fault.

You have officially reached the level of idiocy of those who blamed Bush for everything.

When the uprising started in Egypt, there wasn't a single person here who could suggest a course of action for the US.

Small wonder Israel is eyeing action in Iran. The longer they wait, the worse it will be. I just hope we don't still have the wanna-be goat herder in the White House when it happens

Obama and his minions were behind the uprising so, yes it is his fault. Also I seem to remember most of GTPI predicting this outcome. There was one lone holdout though. :whistling: Guess you were wrong.

Whoa there cowboy, The US was not doing a heck of a lot of "supporting" of the Shah, as the "revolution" picked up, and was working pretty hard to give him an exit from the Country, which made the taking of the US embassy That much more unwarrented. Jimmie "grits for brains" Carter let them hold the hostages while he twiddled his thumbs. Iran was pretty much handled in about the same manner as the situation (s) in the Arab spring right now. Using Carter as a model is just not reassuring.

Yeah, but the bigger problem was that there wasn't anyone in the White House who could suggest one, either.

We know you voted for him. It can't be easy to admit you were that wrong, so we understand.

A few of us knew exactly what to do. We also received infractions for the lesson.

Who said anything about "as the revolution picked up".

He was a US puppet for years before that.
