I'm currently 24 days from my 21st birthday, and I've decided on a Glock 36 as my first short arm purchase, as I intend to get my CCW in July after I put it through it's paces. I've been looking around on local stores sites, and it doesn't seem as if a lot of them carry it, at least online (SGC, Lone Wolf).

I was wondering if anyone knows of good places to check, and keep in mind I live in Tempe and gas prices suck.

Check out Arizona Tactical Firearms on the SE corner of Baseline and McClintock. They can usually order items they don't have in inventory and have them in a few days.

Scottsdale Gun Club. The finest gun store I've ever been to. They also have a nice $30/mo membership for unlimited range time. Can make reservations as a member - sometimes lanes are tough to get in on Saturdays.

Bear mountain will price match and can order you anything you want. Best pistol selection bear arms in scottsdale ATF is kinda pricy but I bought a nice used hk from them scottsdale gun club should have any model of glock made.

There's also GlockMeister, off of Stapley and Baseline. It's like a 30 second drive from Caswells if you're familiar with them.

We currently have two new and one used in stock. Come on in and take a look. Be glad to put one away until your birthday.

Thank you. But, I went back on that and instead I'm getting a 30. I was actually in your store on Friday, my birthday, but I haven't gotten my cash for it yet. My two friends did make purchases, the 21 and the 30. I talked to the guy who sold them about when you'd be getting in another 30, and he said probably by Tuesday or Wednesday, at which time I'll hopefully have my cash I was supposed to have had two weeks ago.

If you have any news on when the 30 will be in stock, I'd be glad to hear it.

I thought Glockmeister lost their license to sell firearms (apparently he was doing some shady selling practices under the counter)? Did they get it back? I know they still sell parts (according to their website).

Don't forget the Pistol Parlour over on Southern/Country Club area. They typically have really good prices and a large selection of guns (Glocks and others) on hand. They can order anything you'd like as well. I'm a little biased towards there, as my uncle owns it. Arizona Tactical is a nice shop too, been over there several times.

Scottsdale Gun Club is WAY overpriced! That's probably how they pay for their fancy shooting range! Nice place though.

Glockmeister was sold, and although they don't list guns for sale on their site, they do indeed sell them.

Yes, Ben sold the business. The new owners are pretty cool. I was in there a couple weeks ago and talked with them a bit. Very friendly and knowledgeable.

Good to know! Always good to see plenty of options for shopping locally! Maybe that'll make it that much harder for the Dem's to try to take away our guns too!
