.dxf Files

    Guys,
    Where can I buy design software that will give me .dxf files for a reasonable amount of money. I'd love to have AutoCad, but the cost is prohibitive. There is a 'lite' version, but I haven't found any for sale.

    What other programs are similar to AutoCad, but cheap enough for the average guy to buy?

    I'm considering starting a small business and making parts.

    I don't need the full version of Auto Cad. AutoCad LT will be fine.
