Bought a brand new Glock 20, and noticed that when I got home, there was a chunk of plastic missing from the front slide rail area. Picture is attached. Any opinions?

I'm going the other way and say that such a minor moulding imperfection in a non stressed, non critical area, wouldn't upset me too much.

That's just a molding imperfection. All of my newer Glocks show a similar imperfection. It's just cosmetic.

Bring it back where you bought it and have them exchange it.

dont know how your LGS works but mine and all locals here are sales are final upon leaving the shop. however mike would raise holy hell if a company refused to assist on an issue w/ a new gun.

Thanks for putting the arrow on the picture. Never would have noticed.

    It is a non-issue.

Hey, no problem! I know some of you old-timers have eye problems, so I figured the arrow would help

Eh, I'll call them and see what they say. And yes, I put 50 rounds through it since then, no problems.

My personal opinion is that it is cosmetic and of no concern. If I owned it I would take a razor knife, trim it up and rock on. However, I would want to physically inspect it before offering a professional opinion.
