My eyes must be getting old...like the rest of me. I have a small flex LED light that clamps to my reloading bench. I shine it down the case at the bullet seating stage to look at the powder in the case after charging. I need something brighter, but small. And something that can clamp to a bench that's about 1.5 - 2 inches thick. Do you have a light for that purpose that you'd recommend?
This one doesn't clamp. but the base is pretty heavy, so it doesn't move around. I bought two when I first got mine as the drive to an IKEA store was more gas than the lamp cost. Perhaps because I have two, the first one has never failed in years of use.
light is bright enough to see the entire shell plate and can be positioned above bullet seating station so you can see into the case to verify powder charge.
flex cable can be positioned so its out of the way and doesn't hinder access for placing bullet or press operation.

I have two of these in addition to the inline fabrication light. Old eyes cant get too much light. Seeing the powder in every case, and catching cases with small defects is very important.
