Difference Gen 2 vs Gen 3 minus finger grooves

    For the Gen 3 owners who have ground/sanded off the finger grooves how does the feel compare to the Gen 2? Does it end up pretty smooth or are there noticeable ridges/irregularities that you can feel. The model is 19. Thanks

    Early gen 2's had ".40 S&W" and ".357 Sig" stamped on the slide. Gen 3's have the ugly ".40" stamped instead.:(
