I noticed on my G36 and G29 that the trigger has a rough finish while all of my other GLOCKs have smooth triggers. Is this due to BATFE importation point system?

They don't make a trigger bar with a smooth trigger that will work in the G36. Some G36 owners have gone the more complicated route of drilling out a side of the trigger pad to drive the little metal pin out of the trigger pad, do the same with another trigger bar that has the smooth trigger bad, then put the smooth pad on the G36 trigger bar, reinsert the pin, then use JB Weld to seal up the side of the trigger bad.

With the G29, Glock used to use the same trigger bar in the G20,21,29,30, the 4256-1 trigger bar. With the failure to return to battery problems that occurred in some of the G29SF and G30SF models, Glock made the 4256-1- trigger bar standard in all G29's and G30's.

If your G29 has the 4256-1 trigger bar, I suppose it wouldn't hurt to try a G20/G21 trigger bar with smooth-faced trigger pad in it.

The trigger bar for My new 30sf was 4256-1- ( I am having extraction issues with this one) now I wanted the smooth so I went to Glockmiester and ordered the replacement and they sent 4256-1 and it has a bump as well . Now my ? is which is better ?? 4256-1- or 4256-1 (They look identical And I dont have a mic at home )

p.s. already ordered the g357 bar the smooth one just want to know if the two I have are worth even keeping around

I have full size triggers in my g30 and g33. No function problems with either.
