Its mine all mine  been wanting this gun for my DPD collection for years. It was not a deal by any means but I collect Detroit guns with my father a DPD Sgt. I made an offer 3 months ago when it went up for auction the first time and didn't meet reserve i paid $200 more than my original offer so not to bad. It sold for over $2000 back when Coleman Young died

I have a used one in my car a G-22, 3 mags fixed sights loaded w/ hollowpoints and a NIB G-27 2 mags, fixed sights in my safe, I was born and raised in Detroit, family friend was a Detroit cop of the revolver era, my two are nothing collectable, but worth more to me than Mayor for life Colman Young's coulda been, my G-22 was carried by an anonymous brave man or woman on the force. Still owning DPD # 1 would be an assest to anyones collection. I am looking for any of the DPD marked G-22 mags and 1 more LEO Only marked G-27 mag.

Thats cool joe, a family friend always came over to our house and had a holstered snub nose nickle S&W .38 he would take off and my Mom would put in a kitchen cabinet, I used to look but not touch it whenever I could.

I have a couple Sherrifs Department G-22's from here but never found the MC096SD I was issued..............would have liked to have it.

Got a DPD G-23 to round out my collection of G-22/23/27 as new in box DPD marked Glocks this weekend. If only I could find another LEO marked DPD G-22 and a couple LEO marked DPD G-23 mags.
