This comes up every once in awhile. Is your's cluttered or clean? Do you leave it stock or dress it up with themes?

Clean as a whistle with preloaded background.

    I'm boring I suppose.

Every PC I use is clean and I only use Windows nature landscapes or factory Alienware backgrounds; however, I really like the OP's desktop.

I don't like real busy backgrounds.. I'm kinda with the guy above, I tend to like either nature, landscapes, or cityscapes.

Here's what I have now... I always like "waterfronts" in my backgrounds.

Grey. Solid grey. I post process lots of RAW photos. I've read that's the best background for this purpose.

    And, yes, it's boring...... :crying:

I change the wallpaper every week or so, using NASA's, Astronomy Picture of the Day.

Bing has a pretty good app that will give you a new background automatically every day. They are usually very scenic.

Mine is solid blue at the moment. I usually have 10-20 windows open so any desktop wallpaper wouldn't be visible anyway.

My MacBook has Monet's Water Lilies. My iPad and iPhone both have Klashnakitty on it.

Mine has a stock windows landscape theme with Recycle bin and photo software icons. Taskbar has the Shell start button and Chrome button. I like clean.

Love the pic, but it's too busy for a desktop for me. Icons would tend to get lost. OTOH, I really shouldn't care since I never open anything off the desktop, or even really see it since I always have a minimum of 10-15 windows open anyway. But in theory.

For fun, get a BSod pic, make it someone else's wallpaper, hide icons, hide taskbar, unplug mouse and keyboard.

I use a program that changes the desktop picture on every startup.

At present the picture is 'turning final" on about the last flight I made before quitting flying.
