Denny's Resturants "Greatness" TV commerical
I know it's not worth much but a friend of mine from jr highs dad was a vp at Denny's, and owned a crap load of them. He gave me my first lesson in republican vs democrat. It went something like the repubs want to keep the status quo and all that is good and decent in the world the dems want to spend us us into oblivion, I was 13 and had just discovered alcohol with his son. I don't know what his views on the 2nd amendment or how they relate to company policy, but I do know they were all good people.
I like that little old lady.
I'll have to see if there's a Denney's in town.
They constantly surprise me with good food and low prices. (I do tip the old waitress's well)
Apprently there are two versions of the commerical being shown.
There's the full version and an shorten version, which cuts it after the kids talk.
Appears the network/tv provider decides which version they are playing.
They pay for air time. Short commercials cost less. It is not a conspiracy, it is business.
Genrally the shorter versions play at night when the spot times cost more $ per second; esp. in front of or doing a popular show.
Here, western WA, we only get the version without "bearaded guy" and granny".
Thanks for sharing, the "real" version.
I have NO idea.
What are they saying? All I can hear is the blasted music drowning out their voices.
That's a good one.
Wife and I always stop there and eat when traveling and we run across one. Unfortunately our local Denny's was shut down about two years ago and the building was bulldozed. My wife and I really liked that place. We also tip very well.
I like the pro 2A stance. But I find it unusual since it's parent company is Japanese.
