I'm in the market but not in any great hurry for a new-to-me vehicle. The next few months have traditionally been the time where dealers try to get rid of the last years model so better pricing is available. My parents related that there have been a few TV reports about how much more of a buyers market the next few months will be what with all the financial trouble Ford and GM are in. Even if you're not looking for a Ford or GM (which I am definitely not) buzz is that the other makes will have to relax there pricing and/or financing at least somewhat so as to be able to compete. Some rumors have even suggested that the other makes will try to offer deals to put the coup de grace on GM, not that I believe the guvmint would allow GM to go under (a la Chrysler). What do you guys think? Truth or slow news day media hype?
