Folks, I'm ordering a Dawson adjustable rear sight and a plain serrated front for my G24. I recall when I bought a set of Warrens, they suggested a front that was a few thousandths taller (they hit dead zero, too.) The choices for the Dawsons, on the low end we have a .335" model (that's the one they recommend for a normal Glock) and the next tallest one in the same width (.100") is a .385". I realize it's an adjustable rear but I would like to start off right in the middle of the adjustability range. Anyone here used these sights on a G24, or maybe a G34 or G35? Thanks in advance for any info.

I would go with the .385 my G34 has a tall sight front as it shot 4 inches high at 25 yards.

Do you guys run into issues with the front sight dragging the holster?

I haven't had any trouble but it probably depends more on what type holster you use.

Anything taller than .200 is going to drag on my Serpa. The factory sights are .165". I think I'm going to order the .300 fiber front and the match adjustable rear. I'll probably end up heating and reforming the slide hood on the Serpa to allow passage.

I have a 34 and have .300 front and adj rear. It works well. I use a Blade-tech holster with no problems.

    Good to know!:wavey:

Fiber tubes or just black? I spent the extra on fiber the first go round....."buy once, cry once..." THe rear sight with fiber was only 4 bucks more and the front was $39 vs $25. I didn't feel good about spending 25 bucks on a small piece of metal, so I went with the small piece of metal with a hole drilled and filled with red plastic.

Fiber, definitely! Red front, green rear. :2gun:
