I don't get to Walmart that often but yesterday bought a package of my favorite brats. I put the bag on my bed and it stayed there for maybe 10 hours before I remembered to refrigerate them. They are still sealed in their original packaging and are fully pre-cooked.

    Safe to eat?

I'd cook them and eat them...yes.

What kind of packaging, though? "packaged at the store" packaging like ground beef used to be done... Or vacuum sealed packs like Ekrich / factory brand stuff?

I thought this thread was gonna go in a totally different direction, considering this is GT......Why did you have brats in bed with you to begin with?

Why take a chance? Drop them off at a mosque.

Sorry. The meat is dog food. Like Sgt. Joe Friday used to say those are "the facts!"

    Hmm.

Kind of disappointed that there wasn't an embarrassing drunken story here, but that's ok.

Yes, I would eat them, assuming they are vacuum sealed.

Because of the seal, the salt, and the preservatives, I would say they are probably OK. Just cook the s*** out of them.

I'd eat 'em. Two generations ago, half the people in here would have starved.

Eh, I'd cook 'em up and eat 'em, but that's just me.
