Does any one know what a Dan Wesson PointMan 3 would be worth? I found one for sale. Its in great shape with paperwork, case, and manuals.

I've got one that I bought brand new for $625 about 4yrs ago then sold for $600 and bought back at $600. If I came across one that was the same as the one I have now I would pay $800 tops. I think they're better than the entry level kimbers. Just my opinion. $800 used may be to much but I love mine. Go look thru my post and you'll see one about my PM3. There is a pic. I don't know if all of the PM3's are good though? I think some of them were made at a certain time when maybe qc wasn't top of the line. There are some here who probably know for sure what and when. I love mine. It does have a cast frame but I don't care.

Do these have external extractors? Look great with the blued finish. I wish companies would start blueing again.

The one I have does not. I have not seen any DW 1911's with external extractors.

Yes I bought it. I just got it home. I have taken it apart and cleaned it really good but have not shot it. Im NO expert but this pistol doesnt appear to be ever shot at all. Slide to frame fit is (ok), trigger is 4.25lbs and breaks clean. It seams like a ok gun. I will get some pics up later.

    Congrats!

I got mine out last night and cleaned it. Mine feels as good as my Nighthawk when I put a little grease on the rails and slide the frame and slide back and forth! I wouldn't sell mine for a $1000! I love it. It's feels and shoots just as good as any of my kimbers or my nighthawk. Just doesn't have all the bells and whistles! I know it's no semi-custom but it's not $2500 either!

    Looking forward to some pics!
