    Hey Guys,

I was looking at the CZ website not too long ago and I saw where Dan Wesson is coming out with a revolver. I didn't see it mentioned here and thought I would ask you guys if you had actually had a chance to see this new revolver. My dealer said that he got to look at it while at the Shot show and while it was nice, it is expensive and according to him it doesn't really offer anything that a S&W or a Ruger doesn't have and that they are a lot more reasonable price wise. I do like the idea of interchangeable barrels. I hope that it doesn't have a built in lock the way most new S&W's do.

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Each Revolver is shipped in a custom Dan Wesson hard case. Patterned after the ever popular Pistol Pack, each case has compartments for three additional barrel assemblies and factory supplied barrel wrench kit.

Dan Wesson interchangeable bbl system = versatility and accuracy
    Adjustable Target rear sight

6” heavy barrel with ventilated rib
    Finger grooved Hogue rubber grip
    Transfer bar safety
    416 stainless steel construction
Front crane latch and rear ball detent
    Includes bbl wrench kit
    46 oz
Accessories and barrel assemblies from 2.5” to 10” are easily swapped by the shooter and are available from CZ-USA and Dan Wesson.

I wonder why they aren't selling the revolver with the extra barrels? Maybe they are worried that the price of all of the barrels and the gun itself would scare the hades out of buyers. Here are some barrel prices for the older blued revolvers.

Will the 'new' ones be able to take the 'old' barrels?

I wonder if they will make the 12 inch barrels again?

I also still have an original 15 inch barrel (50 made) they came out with to shoot in silouette compitition. So far it has had exactly 6 rounds fired thru it.

Based on what I have read, the new guns will be able to use the barrels that were made for the older revolvers. I could be wrong about that though.
