I won't miss the satin nickle guns, even the dual tone are only okay. I really like the 75B Stainless, and all versions of the SHADOW. Adjustable sights are available for the SHADOW so no real big loss there either. 97B? A little too bulky - I have a Witness Stock 10mm - that's more like it. I didn't even think the 453's were still around anyway - I have three 452's. 550 Medium? Make the 338 Lapua affordable.

Why the '83? It's a heck of a nice little pistol.

I understand the simplifying of the finishes.

The 83 is competing against the surplus 82s but IMO it's too good to drop

The .22 Kadet really surprises me, although it was a tad expensive to compete against the .22s with long reputations in it's price range.

Glad I already have my 75 compact in satin nickle.

The aluminum grips should help make the grip of the 97B feel more narrow-won't know until I hold it. Bout time though.

Agree if the 83 is anywhere near as nice a pistol as the 82 it is a nice gun. I have a very nice 82 and it is one of my favorite pistols. The price .380 ammo has just about killed the .380 pistol market except for the pocket rockets. The Bersa Thunder .380 is a pretty nice .380 and looks similiar to the 83. I had one but traded it off in a trade for a lever action 336 when I got my kahr pm9. It was a nice little pistol though and might be a good option for some who are looking for that type of pistol in a .380.

Yes, the CZ83 is a great pistol, but like the MAK chambered 83s, too big for
the cartridge in a Pocket Pistol market.

Production can go to the P-07 Duty that CZ-USA really wants people to buy.
Later in 2013.. the drive will be to produce the new CZ P-09 Duty as well.
