Does anyone know how long it is taking to get a CWP back from sled? I know at my class we were told it could take 90 days after we send in our applications, but the instructor said it would be sooner than that.My will have been out five weeks tomorrow. Has anyone gotten one lately if so how long did it take you?

    Thanks

It took me about 2 months to get my CCW. It all depends on the person who is doing the background investigation.

I got a VA and FL CCW in just about 1 month's time each.

Six weeks. Wow. That's like expedited services. I still haven't submitted my packet to SLED. Our CWP instructor said up to 90 days. He also said it would probably take the full 90 days.

He's correct in that assumption, they took their sweet time on mine to the point that on day 83 I called and checked on it .....

As for the New Hampshire, it took maybe a month. But you HAVE to have your SC CWP first to apply for it, because they need a copy of it.
