    Upon calling a warranty department for issues with my gun, how long is acceptable to wait for a call back without getting annoyed.

    Usually a day or 2 because depending on how busy they could be backed up.

    Smith and Wesson and Springfield are excellent. The rest, can't say.

    I would be calling again if they don't call back by the next day.
    Now if they already have the gun I would expect not to hear anything for up to several weeks.
    With 1911s I have had good CS from Kimber, which apparently some others have not, and the worst possible CS from Para, which is pretty common.
