I have built a custom G22 using mostly LWD parts (actually this is the second one, the first one blew up in my hand, but that's another story) and, although I can't see anything wrong, the slide will not reset the trigger. And subsequently, the slide release will not release the slide from the frame without removing the firing pin assembly. I've never run into this problem before; anybody got any ideas?:dunno:

Methinks there is a problem with the strikers engagement with the cruciform of the trigger bar. To remove the slide try holding the trigger all the way to the rear while attempting to remove slide in the traditional manner. If that doesnt work lock the slide to the rear and follow one of a number of videos on YouTube on how to disassemble the slide. Remove the striker and then the slide will come off.

Thanks Shasta, using finger pressure to bend the connector out a little results in one proper trigger reset. I guess I need to bend it a little more forcefully...
