I was just looking at the new Crossman 760's online. I have a old one which I bought about 1977. It has a wood stock and forearm, a gold colored reciever, a large bb reservoir, and a rifled barrel.

I was most supprised to see that the rifled barrel has been replaced with a smooth bore barrel. When did this happen.

There is even a special edition with wood stock, but still smoothbore.
