    Hi Mas,

I was happy when I joined this site to see you're on it and answer questions. I just have a quick one.

When I was in federal law enforcement, I had to carry what the agency purchased on duty. Now that I'm retired, I can carry whatever I think is best for me. I have a Glock 39 which is currently loaded with Corbon DPX rounds with a 160 gr. Barnes X bullet. I have not seen any data regarding how these all-copper bullets perform as opposed to something like the Winchester Ranger T-series bullet.

In your opinion, which is the better round for SD? I like the idea behind the Barnes bullet, but am not sure how it has performed in real-world applications.

Also, I have read many of your books, and really enjoyed "In the Gravest Extreme". I learned a lot from it. Thanks so much for the help with this!

    Carl

Like you, I think the DPX has enormous potential, but the Ranger-T has seen much wider use, and is earning an excellent reputation in the field.

    best,
    Mas

Thanks, Mas, for the quick response. I'll pick up a box of the Winchester!
