I Chronographed this one in the short barrel, but not the 4.75". It will be sent for gel as well.

The Magtech 92gr looks pretty neat and can't wait for the gel test. The lighter bullets have been a little shocking!

  2. On LAPD we began using the 9mm in 1986 and the ammo we had to carry was a 95 grain Soft Point!! It had a velocity of around 1300 fps and proved to not work very well for self defense.

The department went to a 124 grain Hollow Point after about 2 years with much better results for police work!

I'd choose the Cor-Bon over the gimmick Magtech ammo, although I have shot Magtech range ammo with no complaints.

If my life is on the line, I'll stick with Winchester, Federal, Remington or Speer.

I want a sealed primer, and the bullet sealed into the case with asphaltic varnish.

    I carry Federal 9BPLE, 115 grain +P+.:cop:
