The G23 mags won't shoot .357? They're supposed to, but maybe pre ban is different.

I thought the mags for .40 and .357 Sig were the same except for the markings. I purchased a G31 and G33 back in 2002. Both came factory with a .40 barrel as well, but only the .357 sig marked magazines. In the time I had them I ran both the .357 and .40 barrels with either .357 or .40 marked magazines and never had an issue.

I have a G23 and a G32 both are 2nd Gen. I use my G23 mags in my G32 all the time. I have never had an issue.

Never had an issue with mine going either way. For range I will use them , carry I actually use the ones marked for the caliber.

I have been shooting both calibers from 357/40 S&W mags for the last four years. I can honestly say that I have never had a FTF or FTE. Since my Glock is a G-32, for carry I stick to the .357 mags.

.357 Sig is a necked down .40 S&W. The .40 mags will work in your .357 w/o being modified.

I have used 40 cal mags in my G33 (subcompact 357 sig) with no problems, although Glock will say not to carry like that. Reason is I will flip between a 40 cal barrel and the stock barrel. I would only use it at the range like that myself. Don't have any experience with the compact-midsize G32/23.

Just an afterthought, You don't live in Kalifornia do you? Is it illegal to use a .40 mag for .357 in that state? :dunno: It wouldn't surprise me if it is.
