Earlier this week I placed an order with GLOCK for a number of items including 3 x "-" Connector. I included the serial number for a G35 that the connectors were to be used on.

I received a email from GLOCK this morning indicating that their records show the serial number for the G35 that I provided them with was shipped from te factory with the standard 5.5# connector and that they could only sell me the "-" if the pistol was shipped with it from the factory, and they would only be able to sell me one per serial number.

Now the pistol was purchased used, but it had a "-" connector which is what I thought all the comp guns (G34/35) came with. Does anyone know if their were specific runs with the "-" or with the standard?

Blue label G35 comes with standard connector, NOT "-".

    Both of mine are Gen4.

G34 - Red label, "-" connector, adjustable sights
G35 - Blue label, standard connector, fixed sights

The LE shop told me that those pistols are not configured like the red label offering, thus the difference in sights and connectors.

Yes, my blue label G34 (purchased through the GSSF program) came with the standard connector, not the '-'.

How do you know? It *is* possible to get a blue label G34/G35 with the '-' connector in it. Many have reported this. But the majority come with the standard connector.

There is not a RULE that says blue labels must come with the standard connector.

ron59 is correct. When I finally decided on a G34 I knew the Blue Label Glocks came with the 5.5# connector and fixed sights so I had my LGS order me a Blue Label Glock with the "-" (4.5#) connector and adjustable sights. Only took about three weeks. This gun was purchased using my GSSF coupon.

Bello: sorry that you felt that you had to doubt me :whistling: but let me help you out a bit.

This GEN3 G34 was my first GSSF purchase, bought over the counter at Ed's in Stockbridge, GA a few years ago. My buddy bought one too that was marked the same, so it wasn't a one-off deal.

LE distributors can order them with any of the connectors - they could get a 8# if they wanted to, or a NY1 or NY2. It just depends on what they think they can sell.

    Have a great day. :wavey:

RON59 - thanks for the assist.

My blue label G34 also came with the "-" connector and adjustable rear sight. It simply depends upon either what one orders, or what the local gun shop obtains from their distributer. If the preponderance of the distributer's orders is for LEOs specifying the standard connector and fixed sights, the odds have exponentially gone up for that configuration's showing up in the local gun shop's blue label stock...
