hello guys, i am planning to buy another pistol this coming gunshow which i will basically use for concealed carry. after some minor research, i am leaning towards the glock 27 or the taurus millenium pro. my main consideration is size and of course, caliber. are there any other pistol brands that you can recommend for concealed carry? thanks...

yung tatay ko na inggit cguro kumuha rin g19. yun na ngayon carry nya. okay naman sa kanya. nag switch na rin ako sa 9mm ang carry ko kasi i have taken interest in getting different kinds of ammo at parang sa 9mm ka lng maka experiment na hindi ka mag worry about jams. just my opinion sir ha.

i am also considering 9mm... actually i went to trust trade yesterday and tried handling the g27 and the taurus millenium pro (9mm). the feel of the 9mm is easier on my hand. the g27 fits ok with the 11 round mag but it feels kind of awkward with the 9 round mag. i was ready to make a decision and buy a unit last night but the guy at the counter does not seem to want to make a sale. so i've decided not to buy from them instead...

anyway, i will just wait for the gunshow and make my decision then. i hope sir deenoh can help me decide :)

If you were going for a small package, go for the 9mm, either in Glock 19 or Glock 26 (just put mag extensions on the Glock 26's mags so that you'll have a full grip). I tried a Glock 27, and the recoil is really bad.

I'm sure Deenoh will help you get what you want. He is such a gentleman.

What caliber is your primary firearm? Best to buy the same caliber so you don't have to worry about bullets, etc.

I have a Glock 19, my back up used to be a Kahr PM9. I might get a Glock 26 so I can use my Glock 19 mags in it if needed.

i will surely try out the g19 and g26... recoil on the g27 is that bad huh? that possibility also crossed my mind... thanks isuzu!

my primary firearm is a cal 45 1911... i really want a small pistol either in 9mm or .40 and i really want a glock ;) i am considering the g27 because of the bigger caliber. i can also go for a g26 9mm since i also have a beretta 92 and as you said, ammo maintenance will be alot simpler... thanks kaiser soze...

btw, happy birthday!!! saw it on the other thread... :)

I would go with the G27 or G26 before a G19..they are easier to conceal..IMO I would go with the G27 for more stopping power..But either choice you can't go wrong. The G19 is harder to conceal for me..

Are you big? Then it shouldn't be a problem for you to conceal a g19, g23 or g30. Ako no problems with a g17.

    valor,
ito ba pinalit mo sa g26?

  14. Hows its performance? I heard its an allow frame - is it durable enough for lots and lots of firing?

Boss Bagito. Isa lang yan sa mga tukso na hindi ko kayang talikuran. Mantakin ba namang tamaan namin ang standard falling plates using that pistol sa layong 30 yards.

Kasama yan sa tropang trumpo ng carry guns.

i agree with you regarding the concealability of either a g26 or g27 and i favor the g27 because of its bigger caliber... i will try to test shoot the two models if possible. thanks pens-66 :)
