As I mentioned in your PM, I've had nothing but good luck with that model.

I got mine brand new for $579 a couple years ago during a S&W spring $100 rebate sale. You are getting a great price too.

Nice looking gun! The sweetest slide to frame action I have ever felt on any 1911 was on a S&W Performance Center 1911.

I had that exact model and it is a great 1911. I only sold to consolidate to fewer 1911s. I would buy one again anyday.

So Smith never had problems with the external extractor? Why is it that I heard so many things with the Kimber's and Sig's. I havent heard as many negative things about Sig's but i just figured that was because not as many people owned them. I have always liked the Smith 1911's, but always looked past them because i thought that EE's in 1911's was no good.
