I know most on here don't care for a rail on a 1911, but I figured I'd post a couple of pics of my new Colt anyway.

Very nice, Forgive my ignorance, does Colt make a solid black rail gun yet?

    Congrats!

Rails are not my favorite thing on a 1911, but I could get past it if I wanted to mount a light to it.

    FCS? No chance in hell.

They do it's a stainless gun with black cera-kote. I think it looks really sharp.

I'm one of probably 4 people on here that like rails on a 1911. While I'm not a fan of 2 tone's or front serrations I'm digging this one. Nice gun.

Guess I'm one of the other 4.

I dig the Rail Gun, but I wish they made it without the FCS. Congrats OP on a great gun.

I like a railed for uniform carry, and regular for concealed.

looks like i'm number three. i only like the all black one and it seems to be the most popular as there are a couple shops in the area that have the stainless and the two tone. i have no preference regarding fcs, if a 1911 has them or not it does not matter to me. same thing regarding ambi or single sided safties.

Under $1k, the CRG and the SA LW Operator are probably my favorites. Over that, I would give my left nut for one of these...

Congrats! My Rail Gun has been nothing but reliable.

The railed 1911 have a definite place for people that want to attach lights for defense. When it comes to front serrations, its just a cosmetic thing. I could take 'em or leave 'em.
