    Folks,

Just inquiring for my home insurance policy....a Colt Combat Elite-Mark IV Series 80, estimated 500-1000 rounds through it, manufactured in 1995.....what would be purchase price right now? Just a roundabout number would do, as I only see the newer models for sale on gunbroker, etc....

    Thanks

  2. Replacement cost (current model) is your ball-park, unless you have an insurance rider that recognizes "antique" values.

Replacement cost of a 2nd Generation CE (e.g, buying a new one now that they are making them again) would be about the market value of it also, so doing what he said is a reasonable method. If it has the original box and paperwork, I'd say $900, if it does not then $800. I sold a mint-in-box 1st generation one a few months back for $875, so that can be a data point for you.
