  1. One locally and it has the surefire light system installed along with the original forearm. Stamped "Restricted."

    Comes with 2 mags.

    He's firm at $900.00

Should I try negotiations, or just pony up the $.

had one , it was the most accurate 5.56 1x7 chrome plated gun I have had to date. With a scope it would put 75 grain TAP into 3/4 of an inch with boring regularity I had 10 shot groups at 1 inch.

The old tactical Carbine, great rifle a little front heavy due to the heavy barrel.

FYI Original series had 1x7 barrels the new version has 1x9.

The originals were sold on letterhead to Officers or agencies during the ban. And were all marked resricted LE only as were the magazines Blue lable guns..

Check the serial number if it is below a certain number that is a $4000.00 rifle....

  5. It has a 1/9 twist heavy barrel, so guess it's not a $4K Colt!! Too bad for me!

I have an early 6721 still NIB. What serial # range does it need to be under to be the $4000 model?
  8. If it's an unrestricted, pre-ban (pre Sept 1994) with a serial number less than or equal to BD000134, it's was considered to be relatively collectible. I am thinking that the values dumped in 2004 when the AWB sunset. At some point after #135 they stated putting the "Restricted" markings on them. There were a number of them produced from 135 to ??? that were, under the AWB, considered restricted despite not having the markings. These to were considered collectible.

I have one that is BD0004XX which is one manufactured after the AWB went into effect but did not get the "Restricted" markings. IT was considered illegal had a not been a LEO. I had a dealer who was consistently trying to get me to sell to him for well over $2k prior to the AWB sunset.

perbans will never slump,, They will always hold higher value in a ban state like New York, California or a few others. Pre ban lowers of any make go for 500-600. that's for a stripped lower.
