Did Colt Ar's with serial# sp339xxx come with green furniture? I'm guessing its after market but not sure.
Its on GB if anyone wants to give some feedback or advice.

    Under a regime.
I don't think any civilian Colt R6000 were offered in green. Early Colt 601's in the military had the green. I could be wrong.

Here is a good site done my ex military AR enthusiats for retro rifles.

Never heard of a Sporter II having green furniture from Colt.

If you look at pictures #13, 20 & 22, it clearly shows scraped
away green paint. So the furniture has been painted or DuraCoated.
Looks a lot like DuraCoat's color "MagPul foliage green"

Thanks for the info. Yes it looks painted, what did you think about the rest of the pics? Do you think its worth a 1K bid?

It's a pre-ban,.....internals look correct, price is reasonable.

When brand new Colt 6920s are available for around the same price? Nope.

Unless you live in a ban state or something. Even then, I'd opt for one of the ban-compliant current production Colt models.

I agree with you, I find myself putting a bid in, looks like a pretty good specimen.

    I like the A1 and 20" barrel.
