I set up my new Chrony F1 Master today at the range and fired a few Glock pills through it. My handloads for 9mm did nicely at 1100fps, 4.6 Gr. HP38 behind a Missouri Bullet 124 gr. LRN. These velocity-matched some Russian steel cased (Herters brand) 115 gr. ball ammo, so the feel of the gun in recoil was just about the same with either round.

I tried these in both a G17 and a G19 and velocities were THE SAME. I had expected to see a bit more zoom from the slightly longer G17 barrel, but not so!

It's good to know I'm not losing any significant bullet speed with the G19 over the G17, just a tiny bit of usable sight radius.

    Fun day for sure!

1.05" OAL. These bullets are stubby little things! The bullet profile makes for short OAL. It's been a subject of "discussion" on many reloading forums. I've run thousands of these loads through my Glocks with no problems, no cracked cases, no feed or ejection issues at all. Per SAAMI, min OAL is 1.00". Seating it out further just doesn't look right with this bullet, it's very round and not pointy at all like most garden variety FMJ ball plinking ammo.

I can seat them as long as 1.080 in my KKM barrel.
crimp set to .377 but I'm using 3.6gr. bullseye powder
I'm surprised your not compressing the powder at that OAL.

    Compressing powder doesn't matter.

    Plus HP38 is dense stuff.
