    Works great, plenty of storage, pretty good price. 170.00 + a $20 rebate for 500gb (Note, TD is kinda legendary for sticking you in rebate hell)...

    If you find a deal on a quality hard drive, just buy an enclosure and put the drive in yourself...

    I have one Acom and one CompUSA unit (this one was a shell, I supplied the HDD). Both work just fine.

    Buy whatever is cheapest and you'll be fine.

    Thats a deal.. Its pretty incredible how cheap external drives have gotten. I'd only buy an enclosure, if you already have a drive you want to use(from an old system, etc..), or you get some smoking deal on an internal hard drive. If you have to buy both, its just as easy to just buy an external drive.
